A5087634 Elliot is a polite and clever 2-year-old cream-and-white male Chihuahua and Dachshund mix (aka Chiweenie) who came to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from El Monte on July 9th. Weighing 12 lbs, Elliot is a smart pooch who watches everything around him and tries to figure out what is happening. He is a little overwhelmed in the noisy shelter, but once he trusted his handler he opened right up to her and turned into a “man about town.” He is polite to and interested in other dogs, okay on leash, and most likely ready to quickly learn new tricks if so desired (he’s a smart and attentive boy!). We think Elliot will be a lively and entertaining indoor pet and companion in any home where he can show what he knows and develop all sorts of new talents.
