A5086147 Abbot is a lovebug of an 8-year-old butterscotch-with-brown male Chihuahua and Pug mix (aka Chug) who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from El Monte on July 5th. Weighing 19 lbs, Abbot is a cheerful soul who comes out wagging! The shelter vet noted that Abbot’s one eye is possibly blind and that his other eye is cloudy, and is treating him for an ear infection as of the day of the Glamour Shoot. But anything we might think of as a woe is not bothering sweet Abbot one bit! His tail never stops, he loves people and is thrilled to meet and stay a while with them, and he gets excited to be putting on a leash because he knows he’s going somewhere. His leash skills are fine, he’s got a nice little energy, and we think he’ll make an excellent indoor pet and companion for anyone or any family who appreciates a little can-do dog like Abbot.
